THE SEASON OPENED The Opotiki Basketball Association’s season opened on Satutft(am: yitb a knock-out tournament (>L. /at the school grounds. Great / was sho>vn by the players, and the season promises to be g successful one. Members of the executive were present and afternoon tea was served at the conclusion of the games. Following are the results : Senior Grade. High School 35 7 defeated Convent 5. High School A 6 defeated Kia Toa ■5. High School A 7 defeated Old Girls 0. In the final High School A 6 defeated High School B- 5. Junior Grade. Convent A 6 defeated High School 2. Primary -3 defeated Convent B 1. Convent A 14 defeated Primary 1.
