Upton (asjst, sec.), and G. W. Button (lion, secty.). Apologies for were received from Altessrs J. A. McOaldon and R. Mcllwraitii. The minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.

A letter was received from, the secretary of the Waikato Sub-Centre advising the club that the towi} and country sports meeting which was to have been held on April 9th. had been cancelled until early next sea son»

All accounts to hand were passed for payment -and the treasurer was authorised to pay any further amoiints owing.

A working bee was arranged to clean up the gear shed at the reserve and to remove and store all then,club's property

T!ie committee was unanimously in favour of Saturday half-holiday and it was decided to support the sports bodies to endeavour to bring about same.

As a recommendation to) the incoming committee it was decided that a javelin, discus and shot be purchased for the next season.

Before declaring the meeting closed, the president, Mr. CL Tahir, thanked the committee for their , co-operation and cohesion during the past season. He said that the year bad been a most successful o ue and that he hoped that next season would be even better.

Expressions of appreciation and thanks for their. good work for the chib were given to several office bearers by the members.
