COUNTY NOMINATIONS

Nominations for Opotiki County Council representatives on the Opotiki Hospital Board, the Bay of Plenty Power Board, and riding members on the County Council closed at noon to-day. In some cases only the required number of nominatn ns were received to fill vacancies, while in the case of the Opotiki Hospital Board, one more member is required. The nominations wore as follows: Ohiwa Hiding.—Messrs V. E. Wilson. T. W. Burke. One councillor required. Waiotahi Riding.—Messrs A. E. Martin, J. T. Clark, G. F. Joblin, S. Maxweii. Two councillors required. Waioeka Riding.—Messrs R. A. Henley. W. A. Gault, G. J. Noilsou, W. A. Butler. Four councillors required. No election.

Upper Waioeka.—Mr G,. S. Mioody. One wanted. No election. Otara Riding.—Messrs John McDonnell, Clem. Black. Two wanted. No election.

Coast Biding.—Messrs James Walker. O’. W. Fairweather, A. El. Blake. Two vacancies.

Hospital Board. —Messrs G. J. JNcilson, G. S. Moody, S. Maxwell. S. Shalfoon, J. McDonnell. Six vacancies.: One short of number required. Power Board. —Messrs W. A. Gault, 8. Maxwell, J. T. Tabb. Two) vacancies.
