Bishop Bennett was an inspiration. He said the drinking amongst -Maoris, was causing grave concern. Mrs Rasper, an Auckland lady member of the W.C.T. U. who visited the Coronation and travelled a great deal elsewhere gave an excellent address. She specially mentioned the King’s proclamation that all who wished could drink his health with water.
