YYKBB .A very pleasant evening was spent at the Regent Tea-rooms cm Wednesday when some fifty friends gathered to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Mr and Airs K,. J'i Webb’s' wedding day. The evening was devoted to flag 500 and when the games were completed, Air Stavely. called upon the guests of honour to. accept: from the members of the llebekah Lodge, the gift "of a handsome standard lamp, as a token of the esteem and respect m which they are held. This was followed by a presentation made by Airs v K. ,T. Burton on behalf of the Citi7,ens' Croquet C’lub. Both speakers spoke: of the good cpialities of Ah’ and Airs Webb and wished them every happiness in the future. Air and Airs Webb suitably replied and all present rose to join in. singing “For They Are Jolly Good Fellows”. After a dainty supper had been enjoyed. the winners of the card games were announced hv Air Stavely who was acting AI.C. The winning table was Airs Lovell, Airs N. Parkinson.
