Airs Halligau formerly resided in Opotiki and her visit to , JDpotiki after some twenty-five years is being spent most enjoyably renewing old aetjuaintances. * * * x- * * Airs. YYKBB .A very pleasant evening was spent at the Regent Tea-rooms cm Wednesday when some fifty friends gathered to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Mr and Airs K,. J'i Webb’s' wedding day. Both speakers spoke: of the good cpialities of Ah’ and Airs Webb and wished them every happiness in the future. Air and Airs Webb suitably replied and all present rose to join in. singing “For They Are Jolly Good Fellows”. After a dainty supper had been enjoyed. the winners of the card games were announced hv Air Stavely who was acting AI.C. The winning table was Airs Lovell, Airs N. Parkinson.
