’ TRAPPED IN GORGE FIRE NAIROBI, Feb. 13. Air Cherry Kearton, the naturalist, with his wife and two companions, was photographing Hell’s Gate Canyon, near Lake Naivasha, when a fire swept down the gorge. l'he party could not take refuge in the bush, which was full of terrified lions. A i lull in the wind enabled them; to dash to tlie safety of a motor car.
