THE' FORBES CUP « WON BY CITIZENS’ CLUB The'-annual, match for the Forbes’ Cup was played oat Whakatane on Saturday. Thet games resulted as telldws : : — - Qualifying Itound.—Citizens beat Whakatane (holders), Opotiki Club lost to Taneatua. Final. —Taneatua v. Citizens. The teams tied on the 21st. head. An extra head was.played, Citizens winning by two points. The following players represented the Citizens’ Club’s team : W. A. Jephson, A. Burton, C. Tabb, ■S. M. Jephson.
