WHILE EATING ICE CREAM CHICAGO, Dec. 28. Babies sometimes swallow pins and buttons accidentally. When Fliss Bernice Quervitz, 17-ycar-old high school girl, swallowed a six-inch teaspoon while eating ice. cream, physicians were a bit puzzled,; They said it was the first time in Chi-, cage? medical history. X-ray photographs showed the. spoon in the girl’s stomach. ' A surgeon' removed it.
