Approximately 104,000 persons died in 1937 in tlio United States from accidents of all kinds, a figure approximately 6 per cent, below that for 1936, according to estimates made public yesterday by statisticians of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Witii the exception of 1936, last year was the country’s worst for fatal accidents. Heaths from motor } vehicles accidents: reached an all-time high of 40,000 in 1937, an increase of approximately 20(H) over 1936.
