BLUFFED!
The little man was tearing down the street like an Olympic champion. A long way behind him toiled the landlord of the local inn. At the corner the policeman stood regarding the scene with a smile. “Why didn’t you stop him?” panted the landlord! as lie drew alongside the man in blue. The policeman looked «ttrprise J. “He told me you were racing him for the price of a. drink,” he said. “So I am,” shouted the" landlord. “He hasn’t paid for it.”
