Owing to the high price of stock, heavy demands of Arbitration Awards for labour, and shorter hours, the undermentioned butchers have decided to raise the price of meat. The shops will in future be open from 6.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Wednesdays, the closing hour of which is fixed at 12.30 p.m., and Saturdays at 9.p.m. . Notice to withdraw advertisements must he given in writing. Advertisements inserted by the month or quarter, and withdrawn at any time before the expiry of a monthly or quarterly period, are charged for as if nserted for the full term. Alterations for standing advertisements should be handed in by 12 noon the day before they are required to appear. Advertisers in the country can remit payment by money orders or postage stamps.
