FOOTBALL.
East and West seniors meet at Paeroa again next Saturday afternoon. West will be represented by the same team as on Saturday last. A younij man named H. A. Neil had the misfortune to break his leg while playing football at Mackaytown last Saturday, and was taken to the Waihi Hospital f6v treatment It is djAtful if C. Copte will be able to play tor East next Saturday as he is suffering with a poisoned arm. Coote is such a sterling player that his loss would tttftke a big difference to the East
team. , i It would be as well if the Paeroa Rugby Union enforced the rule regarding players [having jerseys ot the same colour. In Jhe junior game last week the players )were. attired in jerseys of many and Varied cclours, and it was difficult at '.lmes to find out which side they were were playing for.
