A family* consisting of; a,man and wite and a son, aged eight years, were found dead in their residence at North Sydney lying with their backs close together. A bottle of poison was tound alongside, them. The police think that the parents murdered the child and then suicided. Their name is supposed to be Bastard, and it is thought that they are recent arrivals from New Zealand. The house was bare oi furniture, and the family were in great financial diffi-: culties".
