J. T. Christie, 19 years of age, was brought before the Police Court to-day, to answer four charges of breaking and entering and theft. He pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Accused was remanded to Auckland on a charge of escaping from custody while being taken by train to Invercargill for reformative
treatment,
