A young man in a pretty helpless state of drunkenness was iound wandering about Netliertcm yesterday, and as it was feared he might come to some harm he was brought up to Paeroa and handed over to the care of Constable Miles. Yesterday the man was brought before the Police Court, charged with drunkenness, and was remanded to the Thames for seven days for medical treatment. Dr Smith and Mr McWatters were the presiding js.P.
