SHARP FIGHTING.
FOUR HUNDRED KILLED.

Hongkong, May 3. The rebels against the Manchu dynasty came into conflict .with a force of regulars yesterday, a sharp engagement following. During the fighting 300 rebels and 70 regulars were killed, the rebels being routed. The Viceroy states that 100 prisoners have been decapitated, and the rebellion has now been quelled. The running of the Canton-Kowloon railway has been resumed, and the situation is now quiet.
