PAEROA V. WAIKINO.

What was probably the last inter-club bowling match of the season was played at Waikino on Saturday between Paeroa and Waikino, resulting in a win for Paeroa by 91 points to 89. Owing to some of the Paeroa players not turning

up, their places were taken by some Karangahake players who were on the ground. The visitors were most hospitably treated by the members of the Waikino Club, and spent a very enjoyable afternoon. Appended are the scores, the Paeroa team being mentioned first in each instance : —

Ellis, Tonge, Hewitt, Hamilton (skip) 7 v. McClatchie, Watters, Jolly, Croucher (skip) 27.

Murphy, Lavery, Morland, McWatters (skip) 20 v. Hollidge, Benner, Peterson, Pilkington (skip) 13.

John, Frith, Woods, Henderson (skip) 18 v. Mcßae, Wilkinson, Home, Quinn

(skip) 27.

Guthrie, Shaw, Jury, Pocock (skip) 26 v. Harman, Bell, Macandrew, Field

(skip) 5

Clews, Gadd, Waddell, Bray (skip) 20 v. Armstrong, McLeocl, Walmsley, Congalton (skip) 17.
