SHOOTING.

On Saturday last, on the Karangahcfke range, the No. 1 Coy. O. R.V. fired the second stage of Mr McCombie's trophy. Lieutenant Littlejohn < again headed the list with 47 at 500 and 37 at 700 yards, total 84 ; Sergeant Redpath being second and Private Hyde third. The shooting at 500 yards was good, but there is still room for improvement at 700 yards.

It is proposed to have a half-company match about the middle of May on the Paeroa range. The left-half team will be Lieutenant Littlejohn, Sergeant Redpath, Privates Hyde and Odgers and Bugler McCollum.

The final match tor Mr McCombie's trophy will take place next Saturday, the ranges being 600 and.7oo yards.
