OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL. JN THE MATTER OE THE WAIHOU BRIDGE SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT. IN PURSUANCE of "THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1908," and the amendments thereto :—NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri to raise I a Special Loan for the purpose of the erection and construction of a Bridge across the Waihou River near the site of the present Ferry, joining the Paeroa-Netherton Road at the Puke, such Bridge to be used in lieu of the said Ferry. THE amount it is proposed to borrow for this purpose is ,£2,500, and the proposed security is a special rate of Three-sixteenths of a Penny in the Pound (3/16ths of a Id in the £) upon the Capital value of all rateable property in the said Waihou Bridge Special Rating District, to be repayable in Thirtysix and a Half Years by the Ratepayers situated in the Waihou Special Rating District whose names are set lorth on the Special Roll of such District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, being a period of Thirtysix Years and a Half (36 x/ 2 Years). Contract No. 103 —For general repairs and renewals to bridges and culverts on the Rotokohu Road. Contract No. 104—-For general repairs and improvements to Peel's Creek-Incognita Road. Contract No. 105—For laying one chain platform and forming and gravelling eight chains • footpath near Doherty's Creek. Contract No. 106—For forming about 12 chains Mangaiti Bridge Road. Contract No. lot-—For clearing about 360 chains of drains at Waitoa. Contract No. 108-—For clearing and improving 60 chains of drain on the Ngutumunga Road. Contract No. 109—-For the supply and delivery of ,£2OO worth of metal on the Main Road near Karangahake. Contract No. 110—For the sup- - ply and delivery of £l 00 worth of metal on the road from the Main Road to the Rahu Road. Contract No. Ill—For clearing the Golden Cross-Whariki-rauponga tracltjpfor a length of 480 chains. Contract No. 112—-For forming, culverting, and metalling 28^ chains of Coronation Street in the northern extension of Paeroa Township. Plans and specifications to be seen at the County offices, Paeroa, on and after Monday, Ist May, 1911. Each tender must be accompanied by a marked cheque or cash deposit of 5 per cent on its amount, addressed to the Chairman. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
