VfEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. DESPATCH OF GOODS FROM AUCKLAND, NEWMARKET, MOUNT EDEN, FRANKTON JCN., AND HAMILTON STATIONS. On and after Monday, Ist May, 1911, goods for transit by rail (except in full truck loads) to the various stations Will be received at Auckland, Newmarket, M.t. Eden, Frankton Jen., and Hamilton stations only on specified days. Goods will, as far as possible, be despatched by first available train after close of work on day of acceptance. Consignors may consign a truck FULLY loaded on any day, a sixton waggon being taken as a standard. Shipping and perishable traffic are exempt from restriction. Goods will be accepted as heretofore for private sidings. Special arrangements as in the past will require to be made for the conveyance of " Dangerous " goods. Tenders will be received at the County offices, Paeroa, until 2 p.m.. of Thursday, 4th day of May, 1911, for the underuoted works :<—- Contract No. 103 —For general repairs and renewals to bridges and culverts on the Rotokohu Road. Contract No. 104—For general repairs and improvements to Peel's Creek-Incognita Road. Contract No. 105—For laying one chain platform and forming and gravelling eight .chains, footpath near Doherty's , Creek. Contract No. 106—For forming about 12 chains Mangaiti , Bridge Road. Contract No. 107—For clearing about 360 chains of drains at Waitoa. Contract No. 108—For clearing and improving 60 chains of drain on the Ngutumunga Road. Contract No. 109—For the supply and delivery of worth of metal on the Main Roafd near Karangahake. Contract No. 110—For the supv ply and delivery of ,£IOO worth of metal on the road from the Main Road to the Rahu Road. Plans and specifications to be seen at the County offices, Paeroa, on and after Monday, Ist May, 1911. Each tender must be accompanied by a marked cheque or cash deposit of "5 per cent on its amount, addressed to the Chairman. The, lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
