MANAGERS' REPORTS:

i Tairua Mines. — The v rise having Holed through to the old level, good ventilation has been secured, and the crosscut will be continued to reach the western reef underneath, where good values were got in the floor of the level above. The face oi drive on Bluchers reef is all in quartz, with nice seams and bands showing. A distance of 137 ft has been driven south of the Night reef. It is wider, than the present face ot the drive, and the hangingwall carries some really good-looking ore.
