OAMARU JOCKEY CLUB
The president, Dr A. Smith Morton, presided at a meeting of the Oamaru Jockey Club on Tuesday night. Mr E. J. Lukey (Timaru) was appointed veterinary surgeon, and Mr J. C. Stevenson honorary timekeeper for the New Year meeting. It was decided to publish barrier positions in the race book. Accounts totalling £979 9s 2d were passed for payment.
