JUVENILE TRAVELLER
AIR PASSENGER TO ENGLAND JOURNEY FROM NEW ZEALAND ALONE Rec. 8 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 9. The first child to travel from Australia to England by the new Qantas Constellation service left Kingsford Smith airport last night. He is Paul Davis, aged eight, of Nelson, New Zealand, and he is travelling alone. Paul arrived from New Zealand yesterday afternoon by Tasman flying boat with a bundle of books and a suitcase, which contained among other things, a toy rabbit. His sole concern was over the Customs attitude to the rabbit, but officials soon reassured him on that score. , _ , , . Pa«H is on his way to England to join his father. Mr Leo Davis, a winidow cleaner of Walsall, who migrated with his family to New Zealand several months ago, but returned to England after being unable to secure work. Mrs Davis and a younger sister to Paul will return to England in February.
