APPEAL BY JOCKEY
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 9. J. McFarlane, who was suspended from race riding for a year last Saturday by the Canterbury Jockey Club’s judicial stewards for allegedly failing to run Indian Dawn on her merits in the Fendaltqn Handicap has appealed to the Canterbury District Committee. The appeal will be heard at 3.30 p.m. on Friday.
