AIR PASSENGERS
OVERSEAS RESTRICTIONS P.A. AUCKLAND, Dec. 8. Restrictions on the movement of air travellers from New Zealand at both Norfolk Island and Samoa have been announced in consequence of the outbreak of infantile paralysis in New Zealand. The National Airways Corporation, which now operates the air services between Auckland and the Pacific Islands, has been asked by the Administrator of Western Samoa, Lieutenant-colonel F. W. Voelcker, not to land passengers from New Zealand in the territory. ■ It has also been requested not -to land passengers from New Zealand under. 18 at Norfolk Island.
No restrictions have yet been announced at other ports of call‘on the airways route. These are Fiji, Tonga, Rarotonga and Aitutaki.
