BRIGHT CONCERT

FLORENCE PACEY’S PUPILS The pupils of Florence Pacey lived up to the claim on the outside of the printed programme by presenting a “ sparkling programme" at their recital in"the R.S.A. social hall last night. The concert, which was divided into two parts, comprised 39 items, and provided a variety of bright and attractive entertainment. The majority of the individual performers were \ocalisls, among whom were some talented voices, but dancers, elocutionists, and choristers played their part in rounding out the selections. Costume items were numerous, and group tableaux and choral items testified by their high standard to the tuition received by the pupils. The accompanist was Jean Kirk-Burn-nand, assisted by Joy Irwin as violinist. Mr D. Harmann was the stage manager.
