SPECIAL PANEL

DIFFICULT DIAGNOSES

MORE WELLINGTON SUSPECTS P.A. WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. With four more admissions to the Wellington Hospital on Saturday and to-day, the number of suspected cases of infantile paralysis under observation there has been raised to seven. The district medical officer of health, Dr H. Smith, said to-night that none had yet been diagnosed as positive. The four new suspects include two Wellington children, and two girls, aged 17 and 18. A special panel of medical specialists has been established in Wellington to assist private practitioners to make diagnoses in dubious cases.
