FACTORY FIRE
BRIGADE AVERTS MAJOR BLAZE P.A. WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. Seven engines answered a call about 4 30 yesterday morning to the premises of Godfrey Phillips, Ltd., in Tory street, when a fire broke out in the carpenters’ shop on the first floor of a brick building detached from the manufacturing section of the factory. The outbreak was confined to one room, in which there were considerable stocks of timber and paint ana little damage was caused. Production will not be affected.
