SPREAD IN TARANAKI

FIVE CERTAIN CASES P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 5. There are now five certain cases of infantile paralysis in Taranaki, two of the three suspect cases having been diagnosed as positive. This was announced to-day by the district medical officer of health, Dr E. W. Kinsey. One case remaining on the suspect list is a New Plymouth boy of 13. Of the two new positive cases, one is a boy of 10 years at New Plymouth and the other is a three-year-old girl at Toko. , , Dr Kinsey to-day placed a ban on the attendance of children under 16 years of age at any sessions at cinemas in Taranaki.
