VISIT TO AUSTRALIA
DESIRE EXPRESSED BY PRINCESS CANBERRA, Dec. 5. In a letter to the Prime Minister, Mr J. B. Qhifley, Princess Elizabeth said that she hoped before long to visit Australia. Her letter acknowledged the gift of silverware from the Government and people of Australia, and added: “My husband has visited Australia, of which he has the pleasantest memories, and I hope that it may not be long before I can visit the Commonwealth, and myself learn to know its people.”
