Civil Servants Decide to Strike
Rec. 1 a.m. PARIS, Dec. 5. The executive of the French Civil Servants’ Union, claiming: to represent nearly 1,250,000 Government workers, rejected the Government’s wage proposals and called a two-day strike to take effect from Monday, The decision to strike was taken by 27 votes to 23 with seven abstentions.
