PUBLIC BEQUESTS

DUNEDIN WOMAN’S WILL Charitable bequests totalling more than £6OO are provided in the will of Miss Anderina Mary Black, of Dunedin, whose estate has been sworn for probate purposes at under £6OOO. The sum of £2OO has been bequeathed to the foreign mission fund of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Dunedin. The Dunedin corps of the Salvation Army, the Presbyterian Social Services’ Association and Dr Barnado’s Homes will each receive £IOO and £SO has been left to the Dunedin Hospital nurses' chapel fund. In addition, bequests of £25 have been made to the Syrian Mission, Dunedin, the Institute for Blind Soldiers, Auckland, and the Red Cross Military Convalescent Home, Montecillo, for the assistance of disabled soldiers.
