SCISSORS IN THE KITCHEN
Try keeping a pair of sharp scissors in the kitchen. Apart from their ordinary uses, such as cutting string, trimming flowers, etc., they are handy for cutting parsley, rinds from bacon, and fins from fish, as well as slicing fillets of fish.
