WORLD TITLE BOUT

■ JOE LOUIS COMPLETES TRAINING NEW YORK, Dec. 3. Joe Louis finished his training today for the defence of his wprld heavy-weight title on Friday night against Jersey Joe Walcott. Walcott finished his ring work yesterday and concentrated on road work to-day. Louis expects to weigh in at noon on Friday at between 2121 b and 2131 b, which will be the heaviest he has ever entered the ring. Walcott will be about 1951 b, which is the highest he has ever scaled. Louis said he did not think his weight would be too much. He considered he would be stronger at that weight. Ticket sales indicate a capacity crowd at Madison Square Garden, and receipts of about 250,000 dollars, of which Louis will receive 45 per cent., and Walcott 15 per cent. Loui9 is a very hot favourite.

Walcott’s manager to-day requested that there be a different referee from Arthur Donovan, because Donovan has handled most of Louis’s fights and there should be a change. Donovan has refereed 12 of Louis’s 23 title bouts.s
