INDIANS DISMISSED CHEAPLY AUSTRALIA’S EASY WIN IN FIRST TEST Rec., 8 p.m. BRISBANE, Dec. 4. Sixty-nine minutes of play was sufficient to end the first test to-day, when Australia dismissed India for 98 to win by an innings and 226 runs. Toshack took three for 7 to-day, giving him six for 29 in the second innings aqd 11 for 31 for the match—a Brisbane test record. The wicket was spongy, but drying out, and appeared to give the left-handers, Toshack and Johnston, assistance.
