ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBER P.A. WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. Because the six recently-elected members of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Board reached a deadlock, the seventh member will have to be chosen by the Governor-General in Council. There are three Citizens and three Labour members on the board, and the ballot for the seventh member resulted in three votes for each of two nominees.
