ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES SEVERAL NEW POSTS CREATED N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 8 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 2. The British Broadcasting Corporation announced that in future the corporation will be controlled by a board of management consisting of five directors under the chairmanship of Sir William Halev. The five directors are: Sir Noel Ashbridge, director of technical services: Mr B. E. Nicholis. director of home broadcasting: Majorgeneral Sir lan Jacob, director of overseas services: and Air Chief Marshal Sir Norman Bottomley, director of administration. The fifth director, whose title will be director of the spoken word, will be announced later. The reorganisation of the 8.8. C. administration indicated by this announcement envisages an administrative merger of the overseas and European services, the creation of the new post of director of technical services, and also the new title of director of the spoken word, which is intended ro cover all news services and talks. Immediately following the announcement. Mr Maurice Gorham, director of television services, announced his resignation. He will be replaced by Mr Norman Collins. Mr Gorham refused to comment.
