PERSONAL
After nine years as chief judge in Western Samoa, Judge N. Herd returned by the Matua to take the post of his successor, Mr C. C. Marsack, S.M., as stipendiary magistrate at Palmerston North. He said he would begin his work at Palmerston North immediately.
