OCTAGON THEATRE
A thrilling and dramatic romance is unfolded in “ Hungry Hill,” with Margaret Lockwood in the leading role, which commences a second week’s screening at the Octagon Theatre to-morrow. Fanny Rosa (Margaret Lockwood) is torn between her desire for vengeance for her son’s death and pity for the men who caused it, for in her heart she knows it was an accident. Her daughter-in-law, Katherine (Eileen Herlie) waits for her decision. The story, which takes place in Ireland, tells of the feud between two families, the Brodricks and the Donovans, over the sinking of a copper mine in Hungry Hill by John Brodnck, known as " Copper John.” Dennis Price and Cecil Parker are at the head of a talented supporting cast.
