NEW WING FOR KING EDWARD TECHNICAL COLLEGE

The scaffolding has now been removed from the new domestic science wing of the King Edward Technical College, and the building will probably be in use some time next yoar. The wing will provide junior and senior cookery kitchens, together with a storeroom and school rooms on the first floor, which also contains a partial flat for instruction purposes. Two dressmaking rooms, a small classroom, a small art library room, and storerooms are housed on the top floor, and a lunch room occupies the basement. The photograph shows the facade of the building, which faces towards Stuart street and into the rear of the main building of the college.
