FUNDS MISAPPROPRIATED ADMISSION BY FORMER R.S.A. SECRETARY P.A. WELLINGTON, Dec. 2. A confession that he had appropriated Hutt Valley R.S.A. funds amounting to £778 in an effort to recoup losses made by backing racehorses was made by Jack Raymond Kirkpatrick, aged 37, a clerk and former secretary of the Hutt Valley R.S.A., when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Lower Hutt. ... Kirkpatrick pleaded guilty to three charges of receiving money on terms requiring him to account for or pay it to the Hutt Valley R.S.A. and fraudulently omitting to do so. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
