The chairman’s honorarium was fixed, as previously, at £250 a year. When the sitting chairman, Dr D. G. McMillan, called for nominations for the office, Mr John Bennetts moved the nomination of Mr J. W. Dove, a former chairman of the board, and this was seconded by Mr F. M. Howell.

He had been ’told he was too aggressive, he concluded, but he believe-' h- board -> : ght be better for a little more aggression.
