FIRM OF BALLANTYNES RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF BUSINESS Special Correspondent WELLINGTON, Dec. 1. Manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers, through their national organisations, have considered propositions for aid to J. Ballantyne and Co., Ltd., in the re-establishment of the firm’s business. A national official of the clothing trade said to-day that when the time came for Ballantyne’s to reopen, the firm would not be lacking in stock nor in practical goodwill from manufacturers, warehouse firms and fellow retailers throughout the Dominion.
