APPROACH TO COURT APPLICATION OF WAGES INCREASE Industrial Correspondent WELLINGTON, Dec. 1 Clothing trade unions will approach, the Court of Arbitration . to-morrow for a review of its decision on the application of the recent wage increase to their industry. To most workers m the clothing trade, the court did not grant the full 10s wage increase because of gains made by the workers since the 1945 pronouncement. Mos* of the workers were granted only about 4s 9d a week. Dissatisfaction was aired within several unions and a decision made to ask the court (,<- review its finding. The court returned to Wellington at the week-end from Auckland. It has accumulated a considerable volume of work and will hold only a few public sittings before the vacation.
