LORRY DRIVER KILLED
P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 30. One man was killed and three other persons had a close escape from injury when a lorry overturned near Puketutu on the Te Kuiti-Mangapehi road about 6 p.m. on Saturday. The survivors were thrown clear but the driver, John Jones, a Maori bottle dealer living at Kopaki, was killed instantly.
