N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 28. » For the second time in a week part of a cargo of bananas consigned to Britain has gone bad in transit. On this occasion the bananas came from the Canary Islands and when they arrived at Liverpool on the steamer California Express, proportion had to toe dumped. The California Express carried 304,000 bananas, but the number destroyed is not stated. The Ministry of Food has commenced an inquiry into the dumping of 16,000,000 Jamaican bananas at Avonmouth on Monday.
