Three officials of the association were arrested. The homes of former members _ of the commercial and industrial section

of the Kyoto Prefectural Government, who were suspected of embezzling 10,000,000 yen, and the agencies of the Homes and Finance Ministries, were also searched. A scandal at Maizuru, a former naval station near Kyoto, is believed to include the disappearance of goods valued at 100,000,000,000 yen.
