RECORD AMOUNT OF NEW BUSINESS The National Mutual Life Association reports that the ordinary new business completed during the year ended September 30 amounted to £23,400,000. The figures again include substantial

amounts arising from new plans of staff superannuation and from an increased amount of life asurance protection granted to those who financed the purchase of their homes through the association.
