SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL PARTY

BARTH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION The Barth School Association held a successful annual party on Wednesday in the ' Pioneer Women’s Memorial Hall, Moray place. Miss Irene Barth presided. There were games, competitions, and a short musical programme. Mesdames Noela Claydon and Molly McDonald, Misses Islay McKellar and Leslie Comer presented a double piano duo, The March from Tannhauser. Songs by Mr Colin Sparrow were " Old Man River and 4 Short’nin Bread.” A double piano duo, “ Valse Brilliant,”*was given by Mesdames Miriam Evans and Millicent Hunker, Misses Olive and Ellice Neiper. Two part songs were sung by the group led bv Miss Jean Hendry. The competitions were won by Miss Jessie Armstrong and Mr Douglas Christianson.
