Arriving by air on a three-day visit to Dunedin, Dr R. W. Gerard (right), professor of physiology at the University of Chicago, was yesterday welcomed by Dr J. C. Eccles, professor of physiology at the Otago Medical School. Dr Gerard has spent three months in Australia as the first visiting professor of the new National University.
